Dr. Bob said, " Even though it's a cartoon...."

In my experience a cartoon (or animation) can do things that a live film/video cannot do. See especially the " Chemical Fume Hood Animation" from Dartmouth. I use this with every meeting of undergrads, as I can't take a hood apart & show all the pieces.

Hi Ralph!

Even though it's a cartoon, this program does more for establishing a CONTEXT for safety than anything I have seen in a long time. I hope there's a follow-up coming that goes into RAMP a bit more.

Subject: [DCHAS-L] DCHAS Risk Assessment video update

The Risk Assessment video we released last month has received about 1500 views on the DCHAS web site in three weeks. It is now also available on YouTube at https://emailfilteringservice.net/canit/urlproxy.php?_q=aHR0cHM6Ly95b3V0dS5iZS9tWVRhSVRZVUVLRQ%3D%3D&_s=ZHJib2I%3D&_c=0714012e&_r=Zmxvd3NjaWVuY2VzLWNvbQ%3D%3D

as part of the ACS Lab Safety Channel at https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLLG7h7fPoH8IZ6i2rfDK0zVoompXayRL_

The other video in this channel is the "Small Bottle, HUGE Fireball (How Flame Jetting Works)" recently produced by ACS Reactions staff on the flame jetting phenomenon which is often associated with flammable liquid demonstration incidents.

Let me know if you have any questions about this.
