The Campus Consortium for Environmental Excellence (C2E2) is pleased to announce its Fourth Campus EHS Technology Workshop for Colleges and Universities. The most recent of these was held in 2011; previous events have attracted over 100 EHS professionals. This year, the day long workshop will be held at the University of Massachusetts " Amherst Campus, on Monday April 23rd, 2018.

The Workshop serves as a forum for college and university Environmental Health and Safety professionals to learn about innovative electronic instruments and systems that bridge software and hardware to assist EHS professionals in gathering, analyzing, and managing programs, key information and processes in their daily work. Technologies of interest include:
å• Field equipment for environmental sampling,
å• On-line inspection platforms,
å• Remote learning and training systems, and
å• Electronic outreach mechanisms.

The workshop will include a blend of platform presentations, panel discussions, and vendor demonstrations that will provide abundant opportunities to interact with and learn from colleagues and specialized vendors.

C2E2 is actively seeking presenters and exhibitors for the Workshop. See info below on how to submit a presentation. If you or a colleague has had an interesting, unique, or challenging experience with an EHS information system or technology, please consider submitting a proposal to present. Case studies are especially valuable, whether ultimately successful or as a tale of caution about the process. Submit a paragraph describing your proposed presentation on the registration form.

Vendors are eligible and encouraged to present, but they are expected to include a campus partner that has used the product being discussed in the presentation in order to provide a balanced view of real world implementation.

Registration for the Workshop is free-of-charge to C2E2 members. Higher education participants will be charged a fee of $50 and will be open to individuals from non-member schools upon availability after March 15. Vendors will be charged a sponsoring fee to cover the cost of the event. Contact the C2E2 atcampusconsortiume2**At_Symbol_Here**gmail.com for any questions.

Links to the Workshop Home page to include agenda, travel directions, and lodging options will be out soon.

Vendor Information
Thank you for considering participating in the C2E2 Technology Workshop. Your support and services are essential to the success of our members, their organizations, and this event.

Our previous Technology Workshops attracted approximately 100 attendees each, principally from higher education EH&S departments. While many attendees were from the northeast, C2E2 has several members from across the US, and these and our other events generally have broad participation.

Vendors will have two avenues for interacting with attendees and demonstrating their products and services. The first will be by co-presenting a talk or panel discussion with one or more of your higher education clients. The second will be via Exhibitor Booths, which include a 6 or 8 foot wide table, paper drape, and two chairs. Electricity is available upon request. Wi-Fi will be available throughout the UMASS-Amherst Conference Center via a C2E2 event password.

The vendor Exhibit Booth area will be adjacent to the Workshop meeting room. It will be open and available to attendees throughout the day, beginning at 730 AM during on-site check in and continental breakfast 1 hour prior to the start of the Workshop. There will be one mid-morning break, an extended lunch, and then additional time after the closing.

After the Workshop, vendors will receive a spreadsheet with contact information for all attendees.

The fee for vendors is $750. It is designed to cover the nominal costs of this Workshop, including room and space rental, AV and supplies, continental breakfast and buffet lunch, and administrative costs associated with the event.
