Responding to several miscellaneous questions about Markware LEAN as I assume others have them.  Again: note the disclaimer that my company is a Brady distributor.

1. Markware LEAN does have GHS templates - I used the wrong one in my screenshots. I added some new screenshots here:

If you look closely at the random stuff I filled in on #4, I completed P342 with a witty response.

2. This software does not have a Mac version and there are apparently no plans for one.  I tested printing to both a Brady and a Brother printer while running the software in an emulated instance of Windows XP running on Parallels under Mountain Lion.  Worked fine.  Again, no need to buy a Brady printer unless you want heavy-duty professional labels.

3. I am not able to test printing to PDF as we don't have Adobe Acrobat installed on Windows (We have no use for Windows except to print to our Brady printer).

4. There are lots of other templates for other stuff - pipe markers, equipment visuals, DANGER/CAUTION etc. headers, egress, NFPA, WHMIS, tags, warehouse/facility labels etc. and it is available in multiple languages.

5. Please respond off-list regarding prices, discounts etc.

I took some quick screen shots and posted them as the listserv doesn't do graphics.  I just stuck in random entries on the data input screen.

These are designed to work with Brady's line of label printers, but you can output to other printers as well.  The Brady printers are obviously more expensive than standard printers, but they are convenient, the polyester label stock is fairly chemical resistant, and the tapes they use to print are thermally bonded transfer which is more durable than ink or toner.
