Just a quick note on the status of the DCHAS-L archives, which are available through the DCHAS web site at http://dchas.org/index.php?option=com_wrapper&view=wrapper&Itemid=90 or directly at http://www.ilpi.com/dchas/

Automatic posting and updating of the archives was suspended back in January when I switched to Mountain Lion and the scripts that did the parsing stopped working properly.  I have been swamped between my business and overcommitment to Habitat for Humanity the past few months and I haven't had time to rewrite the code.   However, I took the posts that had accumulated, transferred them back to my old system and processed them so they are now up to date as of today.  I did not proof them for parsing errors, though.

As I know there is demand, I will try to batch process the DCHAS-L posts at least once a month until I get around to troubleshooting the script under Mountain Lion and return us to daily updating.  I can not promise a date on that, though!

Best wishes to everyone for a happy and safe July 4th.

Rob Toreki
