Are you a new CHO and looking for training? At the Philly ACS meeting, there was an inquiry about where training was available.

The ACS Division of Chemical Health and Safety presents the RJG one-day short course, "How to be a More Effective Chemical Hygiene Officer" before both the Fall and Spring meetings. The instructors are one or more of the three course developers, George Wahl, Russ Phifer, and me.

What may be less well know is that LSI also offers this same course just about monthly in Natick, MA, at other national meetings (NAOSMM), and on-demand. The price for new LSI members is $247.50 (new and renewing members receive a 50% off any course coupon).

Regards, ... Jim
