I was on vacation last week when the CSB video was released and unfortunately (or maybe fortunately since it was a phenomenal vacation!) didn't have the connectivity to send out this request.

I'll be leading the ACS task force that will respond to the CSB recommendation to "Develop good practice guidance that identifies and describes methodologies to assess and control hazards that can be used successfully in a research laboratory." This is a topical area that I'm very passionate about and am excited about collaborating with a body of colleagues to develop something that our community can benefit from. If you are interested in participating in this process, please send me a note at jeskiekb**At_Symbol_Here**ornl.gov. We will start by tapping into some existing task forces within the ACS and may need to limit the size of our working task force just to keep it manageable, but I do not want to pass up the opportunity to involve members of CHAS who may have ideas, the time and the dedication to meet this need.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Kim
