Subject: More Information from the National Meeting

Thanks to Bob fo r posting the Councilor Talking Points –

But here are some other i nformation from the National Meeting:

 

1)    & nbsp; If you haven’t been on the ACS Network lately – there have been lots of changes.  It now gives you abil ity blog, post documents, etc.  There is a lot more functionality.

2)      There will be more electronic dissemination of meetin g materials from the National Meeting – Hopefully we will be able to communicate this information as to how to get these meeting materials soon – but in the mean time watch the ACS Network and ACS Home Pate.< /o:p>

3)      As we all know the job market is a challenge – th e Committee on Economic and Professional Affairs indicated that the unemplo yment rate is the highest it has been since the ACS began collecting record s – (in the 1970s) and it is long term – the average is 10.7 mo nths.

4)       The Fuel and Petroleum Divisions are looking to combine.
