Try Mission Linen, who holds the UC systemwide contract to provide protective clothing.  They have several flame resistant option s (including nomex and flame retardant textile) for lab coats for sale or rent.  www.missionlinen.com  They al so provide an industrial laundry service for client-owned garments.< /p>

After reviewing a pyrophorics safety video, a chemistry faculty member had this question:

I think it would be good to provide people in our depa rtment with information on which lab coats are most flame resistant and where to purchase them. Do you guys have that information handy?

Various Google searches didn't produce anything particularly definitive in this regard. Does anyone know of a good source of information to answer this question with?

Thanks for any help.
