Subject: With regards to my assistance request in employment

To Everyone,

A few weeks ago I sent out an email asking for assistance in gaining
employment. I am most excited to inform you that my search has ended,
at least for the foreseeable future. I have found a job working for
an environmental testing laboratory as a Chemist. This lab combines
the analytical capacity I have been searching for since day 1 out of
college with an emergency aspect due to the nature of the companies
clients. I expect that this position will be comfortably long term
with the potential to springboard my career into countless other
positions, including EHS and EM, in the future. Most importantly I
took a job I wanted, and not just any job. My two year long search is
finally over and I hope this is a sign that the plights of my fellow
struggling scientists will soon come to an end also.

What I really want to say in this email is how thankful I am to
everyone on the listserv who has taken the time to send me jobs and
ideas and to those who thought about me since that first email. Words
can't describe my gratitude towards how you have taken up a cause to
help a total stranger. So I will simply say Thank You.

I look forward to my continued contribution to this list and once
more, thank you to all of those who helped.

Sincerely,
Andrew S. Gross
