Thanks for all of the helpful input on our Respirator question.
Many folks also asked questions which I will try to answer briefly:

Standards:  The requirement of the current application is to be
certified for the highest NIOSH/OSHA standards now being met by the best
chemical/particulate respirators.
This mask is strictly an APR, not an SCBA and has a mask shape different
than most SCBAs. 

Performance: (I probably should not have emphasized the low cost
factor.)  The cost-effectiveness of this mask is the result of advanced
design and the use of emerging manufacturing methods.

You all have us taking a more serous look at the broader applications
for this respirator.  Again, this group has been very helpful and any
additional input is welcome!
