Can someone help me here?

We are building a new lab to accommodate our current old lab.

Are sprinkler systems required in a lab?

Or, is there specific codes/regulations that need to be followed?

Are there exceptions where a sprinkler system is not required?

What kind of sprinkler systems are there that can be used?
