Folks, If you know of any students that are looking to get an undergraduate degree in industrial safety or in Fire Protection and Safety Engineering (The University of Central OK has an industrial safety degree, and Oklahoma State has the Safety Engineering Degree as well as Texas A&M).

I just found out that if your state or the state that the student lives in that is wanting to pursue such a degree type may be able to apply for a tuition waiver, i.e. the out of state portion, at a school that does offer the degree or at a Junior College in the state that does offer the degree program. This means that a student may be able to save some dollars in pursuing their degree.

Thought this would be useful information for someone looking to pursue a degree in safety.
