Subject: Dinner to honor Eileen Segal in Boston
All DivCHAS members are cordially invited to attend a reception &
dinner honoring Eileen Segal’s Lifetime Achievement Award on Monday,
August 20 at MJ O’Connor’s in Boston. An excellent dinner is planned
for the event, which will run from approximately 5:30PM – 7:30PM.
The cost of the dinner will be $50.00 per person. MJ O’Connor’s is
located adjacent to the Boston Park Plaza Hotel, in the heart of Park
Square in Boston’s Back Bay. It is easily accessible from most of the
ACS meeting hotels.
We need an estimate of the count at least a week in advance of the
event; I would appreciate if you could confirm you will be attending
so we can get everything squared away. The menu will include a
number of appetizers, salad, vegetables, sides, beef tenderloin,
chicken medallions in Irish whiskey cream sauce and dessert. There
should be adequate choices for vegetarians and meat lovers alike.
Please respond by August 10 if you expect to attend, along with the
number of people in your party. Please feel free to pass this along
to non-Division members who might be interested in attending.
Thanks! Also, if you have pictures, anecdotes, or other “roasting”
materials to help us honor Eileen, please let me know….
