The University of Massachusetts Amherst invites applications for the position of Lab Safety and Industrial Hygiene Officer within the Department of Environmental Health & Safety.  Under the general supervision of the Chemical Safety Services Manager, this team member provides comprehensive laboratory safety services including risk assessments, inspections, training, and management of PPE for all laboratories. Industrial hygiene services including exposure assessment, advising on mitigation strategies, occupational health programs, training, incident investigation, and reporting are provided to the University campus community.
