Dear Dr. Chavez:

Not sure if I am addressing your need, but here are a few resources from ACS:

ACS has outlined expectations, roles, and responsibilities for chemistry professionals and their organizations related to chemical safety at
https://www.acs.org/content/acs/en/chemical-safety/workplace-and-industry.html

ACS also has published Guidelines for Chemical Safety in Academic Institutions (https://www.acs.org/content/dam/acsorg/about/governance/committees/chemicalsafety/publications/acs-safety-guidelines-academic.pdf). That lists learning objectives related to chemical safety that should be met throughout chemistry curriculum.

The ACS Committee on Professional Training ( CPT) has emphasized the development of skills and responsibility in the area of chemical safety, which must be an integral part of every chemistry curriculum in the following document:

https://www.acs.org/content/dam/acsorg/about/governance/committees/training/acsapproved/degreeprogram/laboratory-safety.pdf

I hope these resources will be of help to you.

hello everyone,

do you know where I could find the a model of the competences (list of competences) that a laboratory professor require for laboratory safety?

I will appreciate any comments about this topic.
