One of the membership benefits of joining CHAS is on line access to our Journal of Chemical Health and Safety.

Recently, someone pointed out to me that our website instructions for accessing this benefit is out of date. The new information is that CHAS members can activate their access to JCHAS using their ACS membership number at this address:
Activation - www.sciencedirect.com/science/activate/jchas

This activation link is for one time use and the members should use the direct link at
Journal - https://www.sciencedirect.com/journal/journal-of-chemical-health-and-safety
after activating your account. Once you have claimed your access then you access the journal just by logging in.

I tried this this morning and worked well for me and is simpler than the previous system. Note that your institutional library can have an Elsevier site license that may or may not include JCHAS. If it doesn't and you don't use your individual access to ScienceDirect, the free access may not be available; relogging into ScienceDirect as an individual should solve this problem.

Let me know if you have any questions about this.
