Et al,

It does, however, raise the disturbing issue about that portion of Murphy's Law which states: "Whatever they're talking about, they're talking about money." If the research does have some real promise, then should it be cancelled because of funding issues? To that, I do not know the answer. The reason research is done is to find things out.
