Oh please tell me there's a YouTube or other video source so I can see the show from the Western Fringes of civilization!

I'm so pleased you liked the show and noticed the range.  There were several high Cs and one held D above high C.  And I have a peculiar tenor range that I can access such as in the number where I go back and forth from a female to male character. So there were 3 and a half octaves involved in those numbers.   You are hearing why I always got work in NYC in the old days.   I'm so glad I'm going to get a chance to do the show again when I'm in really good voice.

And I want the same sound man who could tell when I needed the mic dead to turn away and deal with the cold. I think I'll put him in my will.

I was there and the show was fascinating.  Heard songs I had never heard and learned things I did not know.

And she did it through a most annoying cold, and with an amazing soprano set of high notes together with what had to be low alto notes!  As an amateur in musical theatricals for the last 50-odd years, I know how difficult that is.  And to then be asked for a return engagement - that is high praise.

I remember that case.  And there are some barium nitrate cases that are similar. Barium carbonate works also but the solubility is so low that the dose is usually noticed. Barium mimics a heart attack so well that if you pick the victim with care, no one will even look for the barium.

Barium compounds and frits are in most ceramic glaze mixing areas in colleges.  It is also easy to formulate a ceramic glaze that leaches significant amounts of barium into food and drink that is consumed from the ware.

This is what happens when I'm sick at home watching old "Murder She Wrote" reruns.

BTW, congrats are in order. December 9,  I did my one-woman show at Feinstein's to a packed house.  Went well.  Yesterday, the nightclub's Program Director contacted my Producer, Emily, and he asked if we'd do a return engagement.  Nice response to the first professional performance I've done in 20 years.
