The Producer emailed with the tally and we have just over 100 of the 137 seats already sold.   We held it at this odd time because a number of our union people have a matinee call on Sunday and they should be able to see the show and still make their calls.

I'm totally amazed. There are two Angels picking up the tab, a Producer, Director, propmaker, graphic artist, and more.  I don't have to do anything but rehearse with my accompanist and get the PowerPoint polished. Yes, a PowerPoint.  People are going to learn something about this period as well as hear the music. I can't tell you how much fun I'm having.

Dear Monona, I'm a Brooklynite, who spends a lot of time traveling to and working in Manhattan. I'd be happy to listen to your Vaudeville repertoire!!  Thanks for the info.  See you soon!
Best regards,
Janet Baum

Re: Feinstein's Brunch with Monona

As some of you may know, my first professional job was as a child Vaudeville performer and I continued to sing in Off Broadway and Cabaret performances here in New York City as I pursued my career in safety.

After a hiatus of 15 years, I started singing again.  My plan was to rent a wee space to do a program of early Vaudeville and show music about which I am passionately interested.

Somehow, this little plan got out of hand and I am booked for a Sunday brunch and  early afternoon show at Feinstein's posh club on December 9, 2018.  All profits from this performance will be used for scholarships to the Art and Theater Safety course I teach summers at Umass-Amherst.

The simplest way to get info about the show and tickets is to google "Feinstein's Brunch with Monona."  The site should pop up on the first page.  I hope you can be one of the objective witnesses as a union safety officer works without a net.
