I have a question that was brought to me by a technician.

 

Sulfuric acid has been listed as a class 1 carcinogen by IARC, but it is not listed as such in the section 2, which emphasizes its corrosive hazard.  The carcinogenicity is not noted until the health section. THE IARC monograph indicates that the mist is the route for this effect.

 

Is section 2 intended only for the immediate hazards?
