Job Announcement

The Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR) at Colorado State University is seeking applicants for a Research Safety Culture Coordinator to create, develop, lead and direct operations related to research safety culture and sustainability activities across the university, and provide technical guidance to promote the safe and ethical conduct of research, teaching/training and related activities associated with the research enterprise. The Coordinator will be committed to guiding campus units in identifying and managing biological, chemical and radiological hazards to reduce the risk of harm to the campus community and the environment and to ensure a safe environment in which to facilitate research and pursuit of academic excellence. The OVPR supports the safe use of biological, chemical, radiological and other potentially hazardous materials on campus and the Coordinator will enhance the campus research community's understanding of the importance of a strong safety culture in enhancing research excellence.
