People working on their 2018 professional development plans may want to keep in mind the DCHAS workshop schedule found at
https://dchas.org/workshop-registration-page/
We have a couple of registrants already for the March New Orleans ACS national meeting, which is coming up soon.

Of particular note this year, we are piloting a workshop for graduate students interested in learning how to develop Joint Safety Teams at their home schools. The workshop will be led by grad students with this experience at the Universitys of Illinois and Minnesota. More information about this workshop can be found at
http://dchas.org/2018/01/12/grad-student-joint-safety-team-workshops-for-2018-acs-national-meetings/

Note that this workshop is co-sponsored by the ACS Offices of Chemical Safety and Graduate Education, so the registration fee is only $25, with registration preference given to graduate students until February 10. Please pass this information along to any chemistry or chemical engineering graduate students who you know may be attending the New Orleans meeting.

Let me know if you have any questions about this.
