A JCHAS editorial regarding my thoughts on CSB will appear in the Jul/Aug issue. It is available now as an "Article in Press" on ScienceDirect:

Thank you; I did not get that section when I downloaded the budget.

We in the chemical enterprise must hope - and push our elected representatives - to fund CSB, I would rather fund CSB than fund Congress.

Oops - not supposed to make political statements here.

12-13 million USD is trivial in the US budget; the impact of CSB on the entire chemical sciences enterprise is profound.

Neal, there is 9.8M proposed for CSB to close down programs. First shot, not final.

Has anyone found a line item for the CSB in the budget proposal. I have not.
