DCHAS-L members who were able to attend last week's webinar on "Creating a 21st Century Chemical Research Laboratory: Hazard Assessments and Fundamentals" that I co-presented with Dr. Kendra Leahy Denlinger will know that we ran out of time to respond to all of the approximately 50 questions the audience sent in. To help fill this gap, we are in the process of answering these question on a collection of pages on the DCHAS web site at
http://dchas.org/2017/05/15/follow-up-on-hazard-assessments-and-fundamentals-webinar/

This page includes links to 5 pages where Kendra and I will place our responses over the next couple of weeks. The first two sets of answers, regarding "General Lab Safety" and "Safety Culture" are now available. More answers with regard to "Risk Assessment Methods", "Green Chemistry Techniques" and Green Chemistry Assessment will be up soon. The web site includes the opportunity readers comments on our responses; these responses will be moderated, but we hope people will join the discussion of these topics there.

People who are interested in a PDF version of our powerpoint file can find it at
https://www.acs.org/content/acs/en/acs-webinars/professional-development/hazard.html
The powerpoint includes links to the various lab safety and Green Chemistry resources we discussed in the webinar.

Let me know if you have any questions about this.
