$50,000 - $58,000 depending on qualifications

Position description

The successful candidate will have at least a master’s degree in chemistry, the ability to work with a variety of constituencies in the department, across campus, and in the community, and a strong commitment to helping strengthen undergraduate science education by promoting a proactive chemical hygiene plan and teaching some classes as needed. Instructional responsibilities will depend on department needs and the candidate’s qualifications.

Representative job duties

Order supplies for teaching labs; manage departmental stockroom; inventory/coordinate chemical waste for disposal; directly supervise and assist teaching lab coordinator as needed; serve as assistant building administrator; develop/test new lab exercises.
