And letting anybody sue anybody for nothing whatsoever isn't a good idea,
either. Ddifference of opinion. Right of free speech. The Alien and
Sedition Act is long gone. As the person siad: "I don't agree with what
you say, but I will defend to my death the right for you to say it."

what is popular hype seems to be what an ol' time cowboy might find behind

I suggest a period of what we in medicine call "watchful waiting" before
we go flying off the handle. I used to teach my medical students: "Don't

the best medicine is to do as much nothing as possible. I think I've cured

I don't care who the president or administration is - this isn=E2=80™t about
them or who you voted for or against. It's about science and its role in
setting government policy. We need to do what we can as a community to
educate the public on the critical contributions of agencies like EPA, OSHA
(that one should be even more fun-) etc. and that these need to be based on
science, not a special interest agenda.
