Dear Safety Professionals,

The Biosafety & Biosecurity team at Arizona State University (ASU), in partnership with ASU Creative Student Services, has developed a new Autoclave Training Video. We developed this training video to provide instructions on how to properly use an autoclave. The video offers examples of the types of waste to be autoclaved, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to be worn, procedures for spore testing and use of thermal indicators, out of order procedures, record keeping requirements, and much more.

The ASU Autoclave Training Video is available online at:

I would like to thank the ASU Biosafety & Biosecurity team and the Creative Student Services team for their excellent work in developing this video.

Please feel free to share this video with any others.

Kind regards,
David
