From the e-mail list of the ACS Committee on Chemical Safety:

Dear Committee Members and Liaisons:

Unfortunately, our upcoming ChemMatters article related to Safety Data Sheets, with the example of safety when working with methanol, turns out to be very timely in a view of a recent accident in one of our local schools. The article will be published in the December issue of ChemMatters, but we promptly posted the article on the website to make it available for students and teachers for their use in the classrooms. We are asking for your help in promoting this resource through your contacts.
