This is not quite a lab chemical safety question, but one I suspect this list can help with:
The new director of our campus art museum would like to survey the UV levels in the gallery to determine if the artwork is at risk of unusual degradation as a result of exposure to it. We‰??d like an instrument that is more precise than those used for measuring sunlight exposures. Google finds instruments in the $150 range; do DCHAS people have experience with specific makes of these instruments that might be valuable to consider?
