Subject: [OpenTox Association] OpenTox membership and activities

Dear All:
I am providing here an information update on OpenTox membership, activities and plans going forward.

Information on the OpenTox Association founding and articles are located at: http://www.opentox.net/the-opentox-association

As agreed at the founding meeting we are starting with having individual annual membership based on a rate of 100 Euros/110 USD, with a 50% academic reduction up to the postdoc level. Membership can be completed at https://events.douglasconnect.com/opentox-membership

We are currently planning Working Group activities which will support discussions and development to produce outputs for the Autumn. Let me know which WG you would like to join. We may also add a couple of more activities depending on suggestions we obtain.

We are also planning the Autumn meeting activities to take place in Dublin, Philadelphia and Seoul. The annual General Assembly will take place 30 September at the Dublin meeting and will include a virtual meeting element for those not able to attend in person. (See more information below, and we will be providing more information on website and mailing list in times to come.)

On the website - we have as an ongoing project reorganising and updating all information resources into the new site going forward. This will be a work in progress for coming months, so bear with us if you cannot find everything well organised at this point.

Finally, do let me know your suggestions including interest in participating or contributing to advancing any of these activities.
best regards
Barry
