This is an update on the Fume Hood Design Workshop that DCHAS is co-sponsoring with 3 other professional organizations.

We have been working hard on developing the technical agenda for the meeting and it is getting close to finalized; you can see the current draft at
http://acsdchas.wordpress.com/fume-hood-design-workshop/
If you have any suggestions for topics that aren't on the list, please let me know.

You can register for distance participation in the workshop at the CSHEMA web site at
http://www.cshema.org/content.aspx?id=2372
If you are already registered at the CSHEMA web site, you will be able to sign up for the workshop directly. If not, you will need to create a free account for the web site before the registration process is enabled. Any questions about this process should be directed to CSHEMA at 812 245 8084 orinfo**At_Symbol_Here**cshema.org.

As you can see from the agenda on the web site, there will be two sections to the distance participation portion of the workshop:
1. From 10 AM to about 11 AM Eastern Daylight Time, there will be introductory presentations describing the purpose of the workshop and the context of the small group discussions.
2. From 2 to 3:30 PM EDT, there will reports from the small group discussions and opportunities for questions both from the local audience and over the Web.
We hope that you will be able to participate in both sections of the workshop so that we can all benefit from everyone's thoughts. This will improve the quality of the final report from the workshop significantly.

Thanks for your interest in this innovative effort. Please let me know if you have any questions about this.

- Ralph
