As I mentioned last week, my primary source of hazmat headlines for the summaries I send to the list, Google Reader, ended on July 1. Since then, I've found a fair number of events through other sources, but the information flow is definitely discontinuous before and after Reader. I'll continue to provide the headline summaries to the list, but don't be surprised if the number and types of reports change. I am in the process of developing a JCHAS article about the information I collected from Feb 2010 to July 2013.

One of the sources I use to collect relevant headlines is a collection of twitter feeds which I scan for stories relevant to DCHAS members. In addition to incident reports, these include a wide variety of related literature sources, such as various ACS publications, and other interesting twitter feeds. Below is an edited collections of yesterday's tweets. The complete twitter feed can be found **At_Symbol_Here**acsdchas.

If DCHAS people find these collections interesting, they are easy to produce for distribution to the list. I'd be interested in feedback about whether this would be helpful for list readers.

Let me know if you have any questions about this.
