We are talking about broken, but clean, pyrex glass.

It seems that in principle pyrex could be recycled. It definitely must be separate from ?soft? or low temp glass. It may simply not be worth recycling pyrex at this point, even though we are trying to be as ?green? as possible.

Sorry, I think I missed at least one or two posts on this. Is this usable glass, or broken/to be disposed of glass. If it's glass tubing there is probably somebody around that would take it (though I admit I have a ton of it myself).

Subject: [DCHAS-L] Recycling pyrex glass

Does anyone know of a recycler of pyrex glass, preferably in the Midwest? Our normal recycler does not take pyrex glassware and no-one else seems to that I can find. I?m referring to clean, but may be broken, high temp glassware; so there is no concern with chemical contaminants.

Appreciate any assistance with this.
