We have been using Traincaster as an online training host program for sever al years and I like it. It's easy to use and you can create customized curr iculums for different departments, classes, and job descriptions , which is great. We just started using Panopto to create voice-over narr ations for our Powerpoint presentations, and we've been adding those to o ur Traincaster curriculums. Panopto is great - very, very easy to use - and I like knowing that the folks watching online are getting the sam e material that we present in live trainings, and it's all specific to ou r school. I am pretty sure you can use Panopto as a stand-alone program as well (users can login and watch directly from Panopto without accessing the presentation from a separate host program like Traincaster), but I haven 't tried that so I'm not 100% sure on the logistics.

We are in the process of purchasing a user-friendly w eb-based software tool for developing  in-house laboratory health an d safety training courses.  Can anyone please share their experience and recommend a very user-friendly web-based authoring  software to ol that  we can purchase?
