Subject: [DCHAS-L] Horizontal hood sash signage?

Has anyone developed signage and/or for fume hoods with horizontally moving
sashes that help users understand how they are to be used? We have a colle
ction of new hoods at Cornell that have sashes that move both horizontally
and vertically and we'd like to come up with a pithy way of explaining to u
sers how to use them effectively.

Thanks for any help with this.
