Subject: Re: preservative chemicals for finishes

I got an inquiry from a small but elegant handcrafted furniture company and replica antique makers that only supplies to the trade (architects, designers, etc.).  They have their own line of finishes and want to hire a consultant to help select safe preservative chemicals to extend the shelf life of the finishes.  If anyone has expertise in this area or knows anyone that does, I'll connect them up.
