Two quick things...

Please you help me list some of the examples of programs that CHAS has had at Regional Meetings AND consider participating in a regional meeting. I am contacting the regional meeting coordinators and also compiling who from CHAS may be participating in these regional meetings.

We now have a new posting that includes the 2010 and 2011 Regional Meetings and this note is a resend of the below note about our participation at this point.

Please take a look at this note again and get back to Mark Lassiter, mlassiter**At_Symbol_Here**montreat.edu, if you are planning to attend and / or offer CHAS programming at these regional meetings so that we can encourage CHAS involvement in these meetings.

.. earlier note....
CHAS and its members normally participate in several regional meetings per year, providing technical programming and/or professional training.  This involvement includes the development of workshops, training sessions, symposia and general sessions on laboratory safety-related topics.

In an effort to coordinate our participation and begin contact with Regional Meeting Organizers, would anyone planning to participate in Regional Meetings, let the Executive Committee know in order to begin the development of any needed agreements. We would hope that we can at least approach the organizers of each Regional Meeting and encourage them to include programming from CHAS.

Please take a look at the below Regional Meetings and either let us know if you have already made arrangements to attend or if you are interested in attending. You may pass your information to Mark Lassiter, mlassiter**At_Symbol_Here**montreat.edu and I will communicate this to the Executive Committee.
