Usual disclaimer: I am the president of Safety Emporium.   I can't post pictures to the list, but here are some simple ways to help combat these kind of attitudes:

http://www.safetyemporium.co m/?08809  http://www.safetyemporium.co m/?08825 and http://www.safetyemporium.co m/?11020

http://www.safetyemporium.co m/?01415  The matching pin is nice as you can point to it in one-on-ones, http://www.safetyemporium.co m/?01443

We're still working on our standard  lab label line (as well a our witty ones).   We can add some 6" x 4" (or smaller) labels to our regular lineup if anyone wants them.  Based on this thread, perhaps there would be interest in ones like these?

"Goggle hair lasts a couple hours, blindness lasts forever."

"Eating, drinking, and other acts of blatant stupidity are prohibited"

  "Socks are not protective footwear."
Feel free to post or send suggestions for other signs/labels.

1)       < /font>Funny, I=92ve been doing it this way (i.e. the correct way) for years and I know I never will have a problem (also a good line for seat belts!)
2)       < /font>It only takes one tragedy.
And regarding other =93excuses=94
Goggles:  =93they=92re uncomfortable=94    so is blindness
=93I look ridiculous=94     you look more ridiculous with bandages over your eyes
Closed toed shoes:  =93my feet get hot=94     oh, is a cast cooler?
Food/drink/gum:   actually, no witty comeback.  =93put that away and don=92t be an idiot!=94
Any of the above:  =93I=92ll be careful!=94      the fact that you=92re engaging in unsafe practices contradicts that statement.
