In response to some of the
comments below, I'll add some further thoughts:
1. I do plan
on continuing to send the list of daily headlines to the list so people
can determine if they want to visit the delicious site for more
details.
2. The tagging system will continue to evolve over
the next few weeks as I gain experience with the process. I do expect to
include location information (states in the U.S.; country names outside
the U.S.)
3. Someone asked about the source of this
information. It is the popular press as reported by google searches.
Thus,the primary value of the collection are anecdotes of
educational and training purposes rather than statistical analysis of
chemical safety event frequency.

Thank you for requesting feedback. I have used the
chemical safety news summaries that you send every day and have found
them helpful in terms of promoting safety awareness. The present format
is convenient for me to use (and I do use it). It would be slightly less
convenient for me to have to go to a Web site and click every link that
I want to read. I appreciate the information, however, and understand
that another format may be preferable to others.

I have often appreciated your gathering and

I think the new archive site is excellent

I like the tags! Its also a
place I can go back & re-check I story I might have deleted &
then realized I wanted to use. Tags with laboratory, HS or

Hi Ralph,
Since you asked for feedback,
here=92s mine. I like the emails with the text of the stories
right in the email, because I can skim the email and get the whole set
of stories in one place. I suspect that it=92s unlikely that I
will have the motivation to click through all the links on the delicious
website to read the stories. I can see how it makes the searching
easier, though.
Just my opinion.
