Re: Vented Caps?

Kim - these are the caps that we use and we are very pleased with them.
First of all, they are not all that expensive - we ordered two cases (two
different types) for $300.88 - each case had hundreds (not sure of actual
cap count, but we got a lot per case). We ordered the 38mm/400 and the
38mm/439 polypropylene closures with circumvent 4 foam. These two cap
types fit most bottles out there. I would recommend them for sure.

DCHAS-L Discussion List

Has anyone ever used vented caps such as those produced by Performance
Systematix Inc? These have liners made of expanded PTFE that are
liquid tight but allow gases and vapors to permeate, thus reducing
pressure build up. They are normally used to replace standard chemical
container caps for chemicals that offgas.

If you've used them what is your opinion of them?

Do you know of other sources of vented caps (i.e., other than
Performance Systematix Inc)?

Regards

Larry
