Hi Bob, et al,
I couldn't agree with you more. As I have experienced it for many years
there are two distinct issues:
1) Knowing the 'right thing to do'
and
2) Making the 'system' reward based upon safety

Does DivCHAS have an integral (perhaps profitable) role to play in
developing in delivering #1, particularly in the form of written (&
multimedia) SOPs?

We're definitely using Jim Kaufmann's Lab Safety Institute to encourage
our campus to pay attention to #2
