GHS Update: Where we are in 2009
May 20, 2009
2:00 - 3:30 p.m. ET

After a decade of work by international stakeholders, the Globally
Harmonized System was adopted in December 2002 by the International
Labor Organization. SCHC has been a major educational resource for
the GHS and updating members in the implementation process.
Recognizing the need to provide this information to the membership in

a timely manner, SCHC is now offering a webinar on the status of
implementation of the GHS in 2009.

This 90 minute webinar will include a discussion of the status of the

country- /region-specific implementation proposals to align with the
GHS.

The country/regions that will be specifically addressed include:

United States Canada
Australia China
European Union Japan
Korea New Zealand
Singapore Taiwan

Highlights of the updates to the 2009 GHS =93Purple Book=94 will also be

discussed so participants will be keenly aware of the changes.

The cost of the program is $75.00 for SCHC members and $125.00 for non

members.

Registration: To register for the program, please contact Lori Chaplin

at schc.lori**At_Symbol_Here**verizon.net or at (703) 658-9246. Once the registration
has been confirmed, instructions for the webinar will be sent to the e-

mail address provided.
