Along with all of our other monthly laboratory safety checks we also check 
whether the emergency lighting is operational.  We are not part of the 
OSHA system, rather we are subject to MSHA which is the Mine Safety Health 
Administration.

Does OSHA or the NFPA have requirements on frequency of testing emergency 
lighting?
