Chemical Hygiene Officer

Whitworth University, Spokane, Wash., invites applications for a  
Chemical Hygiene Officer. This full-time position reports to the Chair  

of the Chemistry Department and supervises chemical hygiene efforts  
and ensures compliance with the University=92s Chemical Hygiene and  
Hazardous Water Management Policies and Programs; and manages academic  

program hazardous waste.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree (master=92s degree desirable) 
 
in chemistry, industrial hygiene, environmental health and safety or a  

closely related field; knowledge of state and federal codes; and a  
minimum of two years of experience with chemical management and  
chemical hygiene plans.  Background check and post-offer physical  
required.
