Subject: Laser Pointer Safety
Good Morning,

I would appreciate information about laser pointer safety in the lab.
If a student wishes to study colloids, make a hologram, etc., utilizing
a laser pointer, what are the guidelines? Are laser goggles needed -
and are they sufficient to protect the eyes from any chance beam
reflections, etc.? What vendors are suggested? Thank you for any help
you can provide!

Best,

Ruth Ann
