Subject: HF alternatives in ICP?

We are currently using HF with boric acid and Nitric for metal
digestion in preparation to be analyzed for ICP. The metal is on an
alumina base. I would like to know if any of the members have evaluated
alternative prep methods for this or have decreased the % HF and got the
same results.

Thanks,

  Mary Prisby
