Guideline for Laboratory Design, by Lou DiBeridinis, et al (Wiley Interscience), might be a good resource, especially if
renovation is in the works.

I know that many members are in San Francisco, but for those who do get
a chance to read this, where can I find information on square footage
guidelines for academic laboratory design? What are the differences in
recommendations for General, Organic, Upper Division, and Research
labs? Also, any hints on space requirements for chemical storage would
be helpful.

Thank you.
