Subject: Chemistry lab and kitchen proximity

Hello everyone, Do any of you know of any regulations regarding acceptable distances between academic chemistry labs and kitchens? Our Home Economics department has a kitchen that is located along the same corridor as our chem labs. We don't like this arrangement for obvious reasons, but don't have any facts to back up our position. Any leads would be appreciated! Thanks, Donna Friedman
