Subject: Information About Perchloric Acid

A number of people had good comments about perchloric acid. GFS does
have knowledgeable people and they sell a "fume eradicator" for 250
and 500 ml flasks. Buchi of Germany sells a scrubber as a Kjelahl
apparatus accessory. One item of very nice news is that GFS also
issued a revision to the Schilt classic on the subject, Perchloric
Acid and Perchlorates in 2003. Amazon does not offer the latest
edition. GFS sells it as Cat. No. 496 for $95 each.
