Thank you for any assistance, Nancy Costello Assistant Director Human Resources/Employment College of the Holy Cross ncostell**At_Symbol_Here**holycross.edu Phone 508-793-3756 Fax 508-793-3575 Chemical Hygiene Officer College of the Holy Cross Reporting to the Chair of the Chemistry Department, the CHO will provide technical guidance in the development, implementation and maintenance of the written Chemical Hygiene Plan and for safety and health in all college laboratories. The CHO will coordinate with other department chairs as necessary to carry out duties. Responsible for day to day supervision of the Chemical Hygiene Plan and act as liaison from the science departments with Physical Plant and Risk Management. The CHO will investigate accidents and chemical exposures and is a member of the College Safety Committee. This is a temporary, two-year, full-time position. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum BA or BS with Chemistry major or minor. Three to five years hands-on laboratory experience. Accurate attention to detail and ability to stick to a project until fully completed and in full compliance.
